There will be NO Theologia this Tuseday evening.

There will be NO Bible Study this Thursday morning.

The LWML has provided Pocket Prayer Quilts to be used as an adult devotional aid. You can find the Pocket Prayer Quilts on the corner of the piano. Please feel free to take one for your personal use or to give to someone in need of comfort and assurance due to illness, loss of a loved one or friend, or continued strength in your Christian walk with God.

The LWML also invites you to “Tie a Knot” while “Saying a Prayer” on the Quilt stationed by the back exit. We will be providing Prayer Quilts as needed for those who need healing, both spiritually and physically. If you have any questions, please contact any LWML member or Pastor Brown.

May's Mission of the Month is a monetary collection for the Veterans of the Cross. Veterans of the Cross assists retired Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod church workers, as well as their surviving spouses and dependent children, who are confronted by a financial crisis that forces them to choose between equally vital, basic human needs.

A prayer for Christians on the weekend in which the secular calendar remembers those in the military who gave their lives in service to this country:

Almighty God, Lord of Hosts, who governs all the nations of the earth and scatters Your enemies with Your mighty arm, You are our strength and our shield. We pray that You would bless our remembrance of all those who have died in service to this country. They gave their lives for the freedoms we now enjoy; may we ever be grateful for their service. So too, we pray that You would be with all who now serve in our armed forces, and with their families. Grant our soldiers Your loving protection as they defend our nation. Let justice and peace be established and maintained throughout the earth. According to Your grace and mercy, turn the hearts of all to You; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
