Our Saviour's Men will continue the study, Out of Nothing: The Word, Creation and Faith, this Saturday, June 1st, at the Church. Breakfast is at 8:00 am.
Our Mission of Month for April is a monetary collection for Orphan Grain Train. Orphan Grain Train is a 501c3 Nonprofit Christian volunteer network that shares personal and material resources with needy people in America and around the world. Grain Train volunteers gather donations of clothing, medical supplies, food, Christian literature, and other aid to meet real needs. The Orphan Grain Train movement is a loving response to Jesus Christ’s example as a servant and His love for us.
A prayer for Christians on this weekend in which our nation honors those in the military who gave their lives in service to this country:
Almighty God, Lord of Hosts, who governs all the nations of the earth and scatters Your enemies with Your mighty arm, You are our strength and our shield. We pray that You would bless our remembrance of all those who have died in service to this country. They gave their lives for the freedoms we now enjoy; may we ever be grateful for their service. So, too, we pray that You would be with all who now serve in our armed forces and with their families. Grant our soldiers Your loving protection as they defend our nation. Let justice and peace be established and maintained throughout the earth. According to Your grace and mercy, turn the hearts of all to You; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
