Join the ladies of the LWML tomorrow, October 14, at 12:00 pm for a luncheon and a business meeting. Hope to see you there!
Please join us for outdoor clean-up and maintenance at the Church this Saturday, October 19, starting at 9:00 am. Bring yard tools.
Recognition of the work and mission of the LWML will take place on Sunday, October 27th, during service.
The annual OktoberFest Potluck will be Sunday, October 27th, following service. Bring your favorite German-themed dish or dessert to share; bratwursts are being provided.
LWML Mites: Based on the Biblical account of the widow’s mite (Luke 21:1-4), the Mite Box is intended for regular contributions of “mites” or “pocket change”— offerings above and beyond the support given to congregations and the LCMS. Mite Box contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund district and national mission grants and implement the LWML program. Please bring your mite boxes in on Sunday, October. 27.
October and November’s mission is to help provide Christmas gift cards to seminarians. Please consider purchasing gift cards that will be distributed at the Fort Wayne Seminary. Gift cards should be placed in the missions box on the piano.
